For more than 40 years, Steve Liddick was a print and broadcast journalist  and freelance writer, starting with writing Playboy Magazine gags in collaboration with cartoonist Don Addis. Also contributed articles to TV Guide, Business Journals, L.A. Times and trade publications. Was News Director of radio stations KRTH and KDAY in Los Angeles and served for six years as the Associated Press Pennsylvania legislative radio correspondent. Worked as an RKO Network news anchor in New York. Edited a weekly newspaper in Pennsylvania.

He now lives on a horse ranch near Sacramento, California. Writes full-time (novels, cookbooks, freelance articles) and operates a small publishing company.
